TIRANA, 15 March 2010 - Overcoming the political impasse is crucial for Albania to continue making progress in implementing its ambitious reform agenda, the Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantin Zhigalov, said today during a visit to Tirana.
On March 3, 2010 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Konstantin Zhigalov addressed the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council at NATO headquarters, Brussels. He was invited by North Atlantic Alliance to the first EAPC Ambassadorial meeting in 2010 in the capacity of Special Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
Kazakhstan's Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev told UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay Kazakhstan is committed to further promoting democracy and human rights both domestically and internationally.The two officials met in Geneva on March 3 as Saudabayev began his visit to UN institutions there and to Switzerland.

BRUSSELS, 26 January 2010 - Kazakhstan's 2010 OSCE Chairmanship priorities, including Afghanistan, protracted conflicts and advancing the dialogue on European security through the OSCE-anchored Corfu Process, were the focus of a Ministerial meeting between the OSCE and the EU in Brussels today.
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev, informed the EU side about plans to hold eight meetings within the Corfu process this year and stressed the importance of strengthening the co-operation between the OSCE and the EU.
WASHINGTON, 4 February 2010 - The U.S. role in the OSCE is key to the renewed security dialogue launched in the Organization, said the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan's Secretary of State and Foreign Minister, Kanat Saudabayev, today after talks with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"I was encouraged to hear Secretary Clinton's strong support for the OSCE, in particular for the Organization's work to renew European security dialogue and the importance of the forum provided by the OSCE within the framework of the Corfu process," Saudabayev said.
Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev discussed prospects of further strengthening the Kazakh-British cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats in a January 8 telephone conversation with Foreign Secretary David Miliband.
Mr Miliband noted the dynamic development of bilateral cooperation, and congratulated Kazakhstan on the assumption of chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation Europe (OSCE) on January 1.
